KK is a relatively small city, and the centre is easy to navigate on foot. The only other real transport option is by taxi, and rates are reasonable. If you are heading to the outlying areas like Tawau, Inanam, Penampang, Luyang, Beverly Hills, a less expensive alternative would be the popular minibuses. However, be aware that they are not air-conditioned.
